Aurora: The Gender Lens Project
Summary
The Aurora Project is a collaboration between Hogan Lovells International LLP and the 2X Challenge aimed at increasing gender lens awareness and engagement amongst investors and financial institutions through the creation of a play-book of gender lens definitions, precedent clauses and shared principles for equity and debt transactions. We are committed to using our legal skills to help mobilise capital to advance women’s economic empowerment and gender equality and create innovative solutions to the challenges facing the sector.
Call to Action
Hogan Lovells and the 2X Challenge are calling on investors, financial institutions, trade bodies and relevant international organisations to consult and collaborate with us in order to build industry approved legal building blocks, and simplify and standardise the application of a gender lens to finance transactions across all asset classes, sectors and geographies.
