ANDE/USAID Learning Partnership

Summary

The Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE), with support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), is helping entrepreneurial ecosystem players to adopt or enhance their existing gender-smart practices in which women are business leaders, investors, employees, and consumers via an award focused on innovation grantmaking and learning.

Key Milestones

Learning Products focused on small and growing businesses (SGBs) in emerging market economies, which will incorporate practical applications and evidence from our activities to ensure this work will foster systemic change, and build on existing evidence and research.

Call to Action

Build partnerships with support organizations applying gender-smart approaches ( to learn best practices, share insights, ensure work is not duplicative), and attend public ANDE events.

Women entrepreneurs are leaders in addressing climate change. Together we can help break down barriers they still face in growing green businesses and increasing the capital available to them to succeed in bringing innovative climate-smart products and services to market.
