Sharron is a former investment banker and Wall Street attorney turned serial social impact investor and entrepreneur. She is a Founding Shareholder in Women in Infrastructure Development & Energy (WINDE – one of Africa’s largest women’s investment groups), teaches Project Finance at the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business and is a member of the Faculty at Singularity University.

She’s a pioneer in NEXUS thinking and has been instrumental in the planning and development of innovative Smart City 2.0 projects in Africa and emerging Asia. Sharron was a founding board member of numerous successful women’s investment groups including the Graca Machel Trust’s Women in Finance Network and the Brains Trust of United Success.

She has Doctorate Degree in Law (Columbia University) and undergraduate degrees in finance and economics. She’s a published author and frequent speaker at global events including the World Economic Forum, the Global Alliance, Campus Party and TED. She also sits on the board of a number of private and publicly traded companies and is a published author.
