Najada Kumbuli

As Head of Investments for the Visa Foundation, Najada Kumbuli is responsible for leading the investment effort in support of the Foundation’s mission to enable an equitable and efficient access to capital for women and underserved entrepreneurs. Previously, Najada was an Investment Director at Calvert Impact Capital where she led the development and execution of several sector strategies, structured and originated complex investment opportunities with other private and public investors, and managed the credit quality and impact performance within the financial inclusion and renewable energy portfolio globally. Originally from Albania, Najada received a B.A. and B.Econ. from Macalester College in the U.S. and is based in Washington, D.C.
